We at the Billken Angels Network say our focus is on “…the deals that make a difference” for our economy, our region, our investors and our entrepreneurial alumni. We seek to invest in businesses that can improve our economy and our region through making a difference by growing employment, technology, service delivery, market leadership or global stature.
Along the way our member angels want to see entrepreneurship grow in degree and professionalism in the St. Louis region as well as seeing their investment grow at rates which considerably exceed what they could receive if they invested in the stock market or in government bonds (both of which are relatively low-risk ways to make money). Throughout all of this our goal is to grow entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University and in the larger St. Louis area through investments of financial capital and expertise from our members.
